Who: Xavier and Benjy. What: Alastair broke his dad because of this boy so Xavier is going to see what this Muggleborn is all about. Where: St. Mungo's. When: Late Sunday evening, November 15 Status: Closed/Incomplete. Rating: Should be low.
Xavier had been never been so happy for an Auror to leave in his entire life. Having Moody lurking about like he was, no doubt poking about in things he had no business poking about in had set Xavier's teeth on edge. His nerves were raw to begin with and having the sudden appearance of an Auror on his ward for no reason whatsoever had just made the whole day even worse for him. He wasn't worried about anyone discovering anything about him because he had done everything he could to make sure his private workings were just that, private, but being as stressed as he already was coupled with the conversation he had had with Alastair and now he person he suspected Alastair of talking about being on his ward? His nerves were maxed and a meddlesome Auror was the last thing he needed. Having him go was a stress reliever to Xavier for many reasons but mainly because now it meant that he could do what he truly wanted to do.
And that was talk to Benjy Fenwick.
He had made sure that Catherine Bones was resting peacefully and wasn't going to wake up any time soon - that was a whole other situation that he did not want to deal with and as such slipping her a little extra sleeping potion to make sure that she made it through the night sleeping without waking had been necessary. It wouldn't hurt her but it made sure that he had plenty of time alone with Mr. Fenwick. This was not a conversation he ever thought he was going to have but then again neither was the one he had had with Alastair. He was going to loose his only son and Xavier needed to know why. He needed to know what was so special about the boy - and he needed to know for certain that this was the boy who had turned his son on his head.
With a flick of wrist a chair settled itself beside Benjy's bed and with two potion bottles in hand he made his way over the his bed slowly, setting his cane against the bedside table before taking a seat. He had already administered the potion that would wake Benjy but he wasn't so cruel as to force him to remain awake for a long period of time hence the two potions in hand. Taking a seat he settled the bottles on his leg, crossed his arms over his chest and waited for the potions to do their job. It had already been a long day and Xavier had no doubt that the night was about to get a whole lot longer.
