No matter how many times that you told me you wanted to leave No matter how many breaths that you took, you still couldn't breathe No matter how many nights that you'd lie wide awake to the sound of the poison rain Where did you go? Where did you go? Where did you
Walburga was, by nature, a very curious person. It was often said that curiosity would kill the cat but in this case curiosity would be the death of the one of the last remaining Black's, of that Walburga would be certain. That did not stop her though from getting dressed and heading out for the evening after receiving Sirius' note. It was odd. He had been so determined not to have anything to do with her while growing up, instead choosing to constantly butt heads with her and see how far he could push her and now - well, Walburga didn't know what to make of the situation. It was, at it's best, complicated but there was a part of her that could not resist the temptation and that is precisely what this was, a vast temptation. Could it have been a trap? Of course it could have been but that wasn't going to stop her. She had already committed herself to going and once she set her mind to something Walburga was not the sort to back down. As was evident by the fact that she was standing in the shadows, hood of her traveling cloak drawn up over her head and down into her face as she waited and wondered.
Some part of her deep down knew that perhaps tempers had been too hot, too high, too raw on the night that Sirius had been disowned but again, she was not one to back down and she would be damned before giving into the antics of her erstwhile first born child. He had been far above and beyond trying from the moment he had been born and really before then actually. Her pregnancy with him had been beyond difficult and it had continued all while she had been raising him and up until the moment he had been disowned in a fiery fit of rage. It had taken several weeks for her temper to cool and relax but once it had she had realized just what had been done but what had been done could not be undone. She would not back down no matter what she had felt. As time had passed it had gotten easier and she had all but forgotten what it had been like to be around her child.
Until now.
Communicating with him via journals was one thing but seeing him in person was another entirely. She could only hope that this would go better than the last few times they had met.
