Fabian and Sirius
Propped up on a mountain of feather pillows, Sirius currently listened to the book Emmeline's father had sent him: The Lord of the Rings. He was several chapters in by now, and despite his original misgivings about a story following the lives of hobbits, trolls, goblins, wizards and elves (as told by an unknowing muggle of all things), Sirius was rather enjoying himself. Few if any of the racial depictions were accurate, of course, but the author had been well meaning. And he'd nailed a troll's personality, so really, Sirius didn't see any harm in enjoying the work of fiction. Even if according to the author, wizards were all old white men with beards tucked into their belts.
And who the fuck carried around a staff instead of a wand?
Reaching over and shutting the book at the arrival of his latest subject come to pay homage, Sirius grinned.
