Georgie was bored. It was one of the things she hated most in the world. That antsy feeling, shaking your legs when you literally had nothing that interested you, which meant it was time to go out. Cute skirt, sleek black top and heels, hair wild and free besides one side twisted up with a clip.
Luminous was a strange place, but in that way that made it feel weirdly good. She didn't exactly want to head out alone, but when nobody was answering on a Friday evening, what was was a girl to do?
Instead of heading to a table when she came in, Georgie headed straight to the bar, past every single person in the place and slipped into one of the stools, crossing her legs at the ankles. She wanted a drink first before she interacted with anyone. If she even did.
"Vodka soda with a twist, thanks," she asked, fully prepared to whip out her I.D. if questioned. One of the best things about finally being over that annoyingly stupid age. No fakes anymore, though that did take some of the fun out of it.
From the corner of her eye, a head of dark hair caught her attention. Curls, from what she could tell, but that's all she saw. It was the guy she'd seen in there sometimes. Cute. Very, very cute.
