The only magic Jessica was familiar with was what she had witnessed here. Mordecai and the woman who was here before were quite talented, but outside of them, she had not witnessed anything else magic related. Being that she was wrapped up in other things, magic was not a top priority. She hadn't been on a mission in some time, but hearing about Natasha's experience with the amber was kind of like a mission all on it's own. It was a lot to think about even for someone who was use to complicated.
Jessica took another sip from her whiskey just as another woman entered the bar. Normally, Jessica didn't bother to pay much attention to who entered the bar, but tonight she looked up at the arrival. Maybe because it was a weekday and there was not many people around, either way, the other woman settled at the bar and ordered herself a glass of red wine. Jessica wasn't much for wine, but whatever did the job, right? When she'd been with Killgrave, she'd practically downed a bottle to stay sane at a contrived dinner situation where the staff could end up dead if she didn't. Desperate times and all.
Unlike most others at the bar, the woman actually reached out and spoke to Jessica. At a closer look, Jessica recognized the woman from the network, but was unaware if she was a refugee or not seeing as it was open to both. She sensed that it was the former. Maybe a new one? Or newer rather. Still, when the woman reached out, asking how her evening was, it took everything for Jessica not to respond with something of the sarcastic variety. This woman seemed sincere in her attempts to talk to Jessica. "If you end up at a bar, probably not great," she replied, shrugging her shoulders. "How about yours?"
