I thought about how someone might want a link to the Atlus site, since they publish rare games. Or published out of print ones, with links to the game websites so here you go-Atlus Website-Atlus Usa
Oh hecks yes there are spoilers.
After my sister beat Digital Devil Saga, of course I couldn't wait for this game to come out. The first game gave us a cliffhanger and a reason to be excited, because we knew the second one would be out soon. It was well worth the wait because we then had not only completed a saga, but we answered questions. Some questions went unanswered, but we liked that.
The good: You get to see the ending to the first Digital Devil Saga. New characters are developed and old questions answered. The style of the first game is still in play with the same voice cast. You get to interact more with NPC's. Not like you didn't before
The bad: New mantra system, I liked the old one way better, the fighting system is also upgraded so it's harder to level up. It's more of a challenge, and more of as struggle not to kill things: Like a remote or the game itself. I had to replace my copy because of that urge. Costly urge. People you like die, I liked Jhonny, the shop keeper and he died. That and almost everyone in the world die.
Overall: Loved it, being on the sun for the last board is brillant, so is alot of other ideas. The end gave me alot of questions and made me mad at first, but it's something to think about. A reflection game if you will. Once you reflect upon human nature and maybe look up some cultural references you'll come close to understanding it. Maybe it wasn't meant to be explained though.
