I don't normally read Snarry. I'm not even very fond of Snape as a character, and have a tough time seeing him in a relationship. But I'm so glad I read this fic, because once I sort of mentally set aside the relationship part (which is totally my issue, NOT a problem in the fic at all!), I loved watching how these children wormed their ways into Snape's and Harry's hearts, and loved watching their attitudes towards the girls shift and change. I adore stories of curmudgeons reluctantly letting people inside their walls.
Your characterization of Snape was wonderful. The charm against cursing cracked me up (I have f-bomb issues myself, and I have a friend who does say "OH FROGS!" because of her niece). The whole thing just pulled me in and kept me reading. I'm glad I stopped in. Thank you for sharing.
