Author's notes: Dear recipient, thank you for a very inspiring prompt. Stories have a mind of their own, and this one went wildly out of control. I would have probably written even more if I had the time for it, but it might be better that I didn't, or I would have ended up with a whole novel! I hope that you'll enjoy it. Oh, my lovely mystery author, that was truly brilliant. I am... goodness, words escape me... I am simply in love with this fic, and I thank you VERY, VERY MUCH for such a wonderful gift! The writing was flawless and beautiful, so filled with emotion and decadent description. The story tore at me all the way through, and that ending... it left me hoping that someday, you'll write an Epilogue as to Hermione's ultimate decision. Please consider it? I'd be willing to get down on my knees and beg. :)

Thank you <3 I am so happy that you liked it! I really had a blast writing this (except for the times when I was totally stuck and couldn't get a word down for days, but let's not mention that).

And to be perfectly honest, I've had sort-of-an-epilogue-idea-but-not-quite brewing in the back of my mind for a little while, but I have a bazillion other things to write first, so I'm probably not going to get to it any time soon. If/when I do, though, I'll be sure to let you know :)

	Thank you! I tend to write a lot of bittersweet endings, especially for this pairing. It seems to fit them well (or maybe it's just the only type I'm good at writing!) I'm glad you liked the relationships. I tried to imagine how they might realistically turn out, with different possible outcomes. I hope I managed to make them seem genuine! (Reply to this) (Parent)
