Arriane wrinkled her eyebrows. Immediately, she found herself curious about the crystal, but it seemed like one of those situations where certain things were best left unspoken of. She eyed Balthazar, smiling so that she wouldn’t seem uneasy.
“I’d ask what it was, but I’m guessing you wouldn’t want to tell me.” She gave a shrug. Everyone kept some secrets, she figured. If Balthazar ever wanted to explain things to her she would welcome the answers with an open mind. “Alright, I’ll close my eyes.”
