Eames tried to control his reaction to the other's sudden response, but still managed to startle a little despite the effort. He moved back a bit to give the other some space, a smile on his lips as he shook his head. "Too long, honestly. I was at the point where I wasn't sure you would ever wake up.", Eames shrugged as he ignored the urge to take the other's hand. Arthur had always returned his affection in small doses, but he didn't exactly think smothering him with them while he was clueless about what happened would really go over too well. Arthur had always been a little too obsessed with the details and it seemed that the long nap hadn't really done too much to alter his personality one bit.
"Nothing happened. I just happened to drop by and it was as if you'd been frozen in place. I thought you were dead at first, but your vital signs were normal, there was no sign of a struggle, or that you'd been drugged.", he answered with a simple shrug of his shoulders, watching the other curiously. "I stayed here to make sure you were okay...sort of. I thought if so meone really had drugged you or anything they would be back but no one did. You were just sort of...frozen."
