Who: Eames and Arthur What: Wake up call Where: Arthur's place When: backdated a bit Rating: TBA Status: Closed
The call had actually come as a bit of a surprise really. After all that had happened during the incident with Tricell, Tony Stark had really been the last person Eames had expected to hear from. And for good reason since he'd been working for the wrong side at the time. Sure he'd made good on it in the end, but the whole last minute redemption trope always seemed so cheap. He tried his best to ignore the feeling it left him with, especially since the details of the possible job seemed easy enough. He wrote down the details the man had provided , but knew he would have to work more from the target when he had the time....he just really had to figure out how to approach the job. Which unfortunately had never been a strong point for him.
"You know, you can help out any time you'd like, darling.",he murmured as he looked over to Arthur on the bed, a tired sigh slipping from his lips as he set the small notepad aside. Ever since he'd found the other frozen he'd sort of unofficially moved himself in. Not because he needed to...but it seemed a bit rude to just leave him alone. Someone had to make sure he was alright while however long the damn effect lasted. So far there had been no sign the other was even aware of his state or the change of time around him. It'd nearly gotten to the point where Eames started to worry that the other would never wake...but that didn't mean that he couldn't still talk to the other in the meantime.
"Planning out a job like this more up your alley anyways. So do me a favor and wake up already, alright darling?", he murmured as he took a seat on the edge of the bed, leaning over the other to press a soft and brief kiss to the other's lips.
