He shivered as she hugged him back, closing his eyes and hoping that if this was one of his episodes, he could just stay in it forever. He was overwhelmed by the feeling that he'd come home at last, and things here, in this strange place, finally felt right. Nothing could ever feel right without Katniss around. It never had.
Pulling back finally, he looked at her, his blue eyes swimming in emotion that he felt no reason to hide.
"When are you from, Katniss? What do you remember?"
He'd been here long enough to know that people came from different times, and it was important that he know when she was from so that he didn't casually refer to certain incidents that she might not have lived yet.
