It was really sort of adorable to see Balthazar lose his composure a little bit. Arriane found herself smiling in a way that she usually didn’t. Most of the time, when her lips curled into a smile, it was because there was a sarcastic comment right behind it. Now the smile came with an unfamiliar tickling in what most people referred to as their heart. It was a little sappy, but for a change Arriane didn’t mind.
“Anywhere in the world?” A pensive look crossed her face and she silently considered the many options. She had been all over the globe during the course of her life. It was a question of what place she missed the most, but also a question of what place would be a good setting for their adventures.
“Hmm... How about somewhere with spanish moss?” She always liked the stuff, how it hung on tree limbs and added atmosphere to a locale.
