Alicia had been flying high for the entire month that had just passed. The cherry on the sundae had been the first Puddlemere United game she had been a part of the team for. It was, coincidentally, against the Holyhead Harpies, another of the teams that she'd tried out for. Though she didn't get to actually play in the match seeing as she was only a reserve chaser and a brand new one at that, was irrelevant in her opinion. Just being able to wear that uniform and warm up with the team was enough. Oh, it didn't hurt that Puddlemere smashed the competition either.

She was still giddy when she came home, drunk on the excitement of his day. But there was only one way to celebrate and that was clearly to get herself drunk in non-proverbial senses. And who better to come along for the ride than her favourite mate? "Honey, I'm home!" she sang as she arrived back at she and Katie's flat. "I hope you have the provisions ready for me!"

Katie was sitting on the couch not long before Alicia got home, she was pretty sure she'd be excited. It wouldn't be too long, but still Katie was lost in thought looking out the winder. She'd expressed her love for Ken, but now it just sort of felt like a dream. Had she really told him that she was in love with him? It wasn't surprising, it was just strange for her. Instead she wanted to make sure the world was okay... Or whatever. She sighed slightly as she got up. She was heading to hear room when she heard Alicia's voice. Katie just started to laugh, only Alicia would do something like that.

"Change and I might help you out with something to drink." She teased laughing. Katie had the day off, Montrose didn't have anything that week. It felt good to take some time off. Katie's mind could use it. The Magpie's were a rather strong team to play for, they just worked their players a lot... Although if she were honest sometimes she missed Puddlemere, it was mostly the feeling she got when playing for them. "Come on, we don't have all night." She said heading back into the living room.

Alicia bounded off in the direction of Katie's voice, spinning around in her pair of sweats and hoodie that she'd donned after showering upon the end of the match. And good Merlin, was it worth it. Though the females had a separate shower from them, the male counterparts of the team weren't all that far off and Alicia wasn't exactly known for being modest or to withhold her obvious ogling at the sight of an attractive bloke. "Done!" she beamed, showing off her team colors and crest proudly as she hopped into the living room. Rubbing her hands together, she smirked. "Bring it on, Bell. Bring it on!"

Katie laughed watching her flatmate getting excited in team colors. "Don't you look Puddlemere-like. I have a few old things from them, they are all yours." She said laughing. Katie did have some Puddlemere stuff still, after all, she had played with them for a little while until Montrose offered her the dream spot. She laughed as she pulled down a bottle of fire whiskey and two shot glasses. Katie didn't really drink much.. Actually she hadn't until Alicia moved in. It because fun, and it wasn't strange drinking with someone, alone it was really weird. With Alicia it was pretty normal every single day.

"So.... Fill me in on the day. And I don't need to here how many blokes bums you saw got it?" She said holding the shot up for Alicia. "Come on already."

"Where to start..." She mused, tapping a finger against her chin thoughtfully. "I think I'll start with a shot!" She held up the little glass in a mock toast before tipping her head back and swallowing the contents in a gulp. From the way she referred to alcohol, it would seem as if Ali really were addicted to the stuff. On the contrary, it was rare that she actually got rip-roaring pissed, though she did enjoy a good glass of wine or kicking back with a beer much more frequently. Pulling a face, she shook her head. "That stuff never gets old," she remarked before focusing back on her friend. "And for the record, I didn't see any. Fecking Oliver must've warned them all to be careful and mind their towels around me because I've hardly even gotten one peek at a cheek since I've been on the team," she said with a pout.

Sighing, she turned the subject to the original question. "All you need to know is that we won and the Harpies are kicking themselves for not giving me a better offer," she said with a grin. "Or... I didn't play at all and therefore, they don't give a hoot. But hey, we won!"

"Oliver does get worried about you look at the blokes. Perhaps he just wants you to look at him... Or something." She said getting slightly nervous and moving her hair behind her shoulder. It wasn't exactly a hidden fact that Katie had always had a bit of a crush on Oliver. Of course that didn't notice anymore. She was with Kenneth, and she was in love with him, at least she was pretty sure she was. Katie really needed to stop thinking about that sort of stuff. Instead she took the shot. She quickly poured them both too more.

"Good! I should have been there! I'm glad that you won!" She said honestly, although she didn't want Puddlemere to beat the Magpies. It was pretty important to her to have her team win. Katie laughed watching Alicia. "So, what was the score, how many times did Oliver yell at people?" She asked as a joke.

Alicia laughed at that. "I wouldn't mind." Katie hadn't been the only one who'd crushed on Oliver Wood during school. When Ali was a second year and first really noticed him up close, she was hooked on the Quidditch captain. It helped that he was in a position of power and instead of being intimidated when he yelled, she was incredibly turned on. Even at the age of thirteen. But then again, she suspected most females, at least those who were a fan of the game enjoyed looking at the bloke. That had been ages ago though, and now it was hard to think of him as anything but a brother. Well. Not a brother. Because in her eyes, he was still incredibly fit. More like a good friend.... which he was in any case.

"230 to 70," she announced, making a face at the end. To be honest, she'd been wanting a shut-out. Not as much as their Keeper had though, which made her laugh again. "His language on the pitch is worse than mine," she said. "I could hear every word from where I was sitting." Taking up the second shot, she eyed it carefully. "I think we may need a toast on this one." After a moment she grinned. "To Ollie's foul mouth and Puddlemere's win?"

Katie always got nervous when she liked a guy, she never really sad it out loud, it was just one of those things... She just tried her best not to show it. She'd turn bright red when the bloke she fancied touched her arm, or hugged her, only a good friend would notice it. Katie didn't have the confidence that many of her mates did, she just never did. She laughed all the same. "Well, maybe you'll have to arrange that." She teased her. Katie figured it wouldn't matter anymore it was simple.

"BRILLIANT!" She said at the score. She was rather proud of them. Katie was proud of them, if anything she wanted Puddlemere to become second in the league. "Ollie's always been a bit of a foul mouth on the pitch. Wait until he starts screaming at you during practice. It's rather amusing. He'll try and get people to do one thing, but the manager wont go for it. It's a bit amusing. Either way, Oliver normally does give good suggestions." If she were honest with herself, she really missed playing with Oliver. Well, that wasn't worth thinking about it. "Toast!" She said in a cheers before downing the shot. The second they were done she poured more.

Finishing her shot, Ali laughed. It seemed she already had a bad case of the giggles, something that tended to happen when she did decided to drink a lot. And it was shaping up to be one of those evenings. Which, of course, had been her intention in any case. Besides, Katie was her best drinking buddy, one that hadn't been around quite so much due to being involved with someone. Ali liked Kenneth just fine, but she did miss the time she had with Katie (not that being on a professional team hadn't taken away from that as well), and so she was glad to be spending the night having fun with her. That sparked an idea. "Let's do something fun!" she said suddenly, her eyes brightening with a smile that reached them. "Let's go out!"

Katie never thought of herself as a great drinking buddy, but when it came to Ali it was pretty easy to figure out why she was. Alicia always managed to bring out the wild side of Katie, or at least eh semi wild side that involved actually getting out of whatever made her comfortable. She tilted her head looking at Alicia. "Something..." She didn't even get fun out as her flatmate said going out. "You mean going out to a pub. As in a low key wonderful place with good beer?" She said smiling, she knew it probably wasn't that, but Katie could home right?

Ali gave her a pointed look. "Low key. Right," she gave her friend a swat on the arm. "Please, Katie! Don't sell me short!" she scolded. At that, she took the last shot that Katie had poured and took it without a second thought. "Dancing. We're going dancing," she said, a gleam in her eyes at the prospect.

"Dancing? Why not you know go play darts?" She asked watching Alicia with a careful expression. Katie wasn't really known for dancing, she wasn't known for getting dragged out by Alicia and Angelina to go dancing though. Katie was the low key, lets go to a pub and play darts sort of girl. But it was really clear that there wasn't a single way she was going to get out of going dancing. "But where?" She asked tilting her head... Hoping that maybe they wouldn't think of a place. That was pointless too though.

At that, Alicia laugh out loud. "Darts? Darts?!</s> We just won a huge match and you suggest celebration with DARTS?" She giggled again, a sure sign the alcohol was beginning to be noticeable in her system. "Fever," she said, thinking of the first place she could that would satisfy her need to dance. "Hurry up and get ready," she called over her shoulder, skipping off to her own room to do the same. "Oh," she said, pausing by the doorframe and peeking out with a sly smile. "And you better wear something hot. I'll be the judge and if you don't comply, Bell, I'll make you wear something of mine," she said with a wicked gleam.

"Yes, darts! Darts are safe, they have some cute guys around, or something like that." She said trying to keep a normal face. Katie never was big on dancing, but oh well. "Fine. We can go dancing. And I don't want wear something hot, you wear something hot, I'll wear a t-shirt and jeans thank you very much!" She said laughing. She knew perfectly well she'd have to wear something nice. Katie slowly got up and headed to her room. She started to look at her closet. She pulled out a pair of dark jeans a semi-low cut red tank top. That was about as hot as Katie was going to get she changed, sighed a she looked in the mirror before heading to the living room. "Waiting."

"Darts are NOT safe IF there are cute blokes around. Not when we've been drinking, silly! What's a bigger turn off than striking a fit bloke in the eye when you're trying to woo him?" her words were muffled as she rooted around in her wardrobe for something to wear. Truth be told, Alicia really didn't have many 'hot' clothes at all. She dressed more for comfort but she did have a few pieces that were a little more appropriate for a dance club scene. She selected a little red dress, not very short -- it fell just at her knee -- but it had thin straps to hold it in place and crossed in the back to show off a little skin. Heels were definitely out -- Alicia didn't need to break her leg because she was falling all over the place and be sentenced to sit out for the entire next Quidditch practice. Throwing on flats, she joined Katie. "Aww look! We MATCH!" She said, bounding over to give her flatmate a squeeze.

"Ali that doesn't even make sense." She said shaking her head feeling a little bit off center. That was what happened when she took that many shots at once. Katie laughed as Alicia came into the room. "Leave it to us to end up in both red." She said laughing. It wasn't really too surprising to Katie. After all they lived together, things like that happened from time to time. "Okay are we going to go or sit around her talking about how we both happen to be in the same color?" She teased as she let go of Alicia from the bounding hug that was tossed her way.

"Because red is fierce, obviously. Fierce." Yes, Alicia was very far gone. At least, more than she expected to be at this point in the night when they hadn't even left the house yet. "We are going to.... take one more shot!" she announced, completely disregarding the fact that neither of them needed it. She took the liberty to pour the round this time, handing one to her best friend and keeping one for herself. "To..." she paused, biting her lip as she thought hard for a moment. "Shenanigans!" she announced proudly before tossing back the liquid. Making a face, she shook her head before seizing her friend's elbow, linking it with hers. "And we're off!"

Katie laughed. "Right fierce.." She said rolling her eyes. at her best mate. "Okay. One more shot. But if I can't make it past a drink at the club I am blaming you. I don't know one nice game of darts sound safer." Katie teased with a small laugh. Katie took the shot quickly, knowing she'd be pretty much smashed by the time they got to the club. Oh well she could use it. "Katie looked around the flat making sure everything was safe. "okay off we go!
