WHO: Sally-Anne Perks and Luna Lovegood WHAT: Making strange milkshakes and House Buddy project WHERE: Kitchens WHEN: Thursday evening, after dinner RATING: PG STATUS: In Progress/Closed
Sally-Anne was by no means feeling better than the last time she'd come out of her dormitory, except that this time she was sober and not prone to talking about jumping in the lake. Her original plan had been to meet with Luna in several days, but after Pansy had brought her food and chocolate pudding, Sally-Anne had grown restless. She was, of course, greatly appreciative to Pansy, but the food had left her wanting. It was after she'd finished eating that she remembered Luna talking about some odd mixture of things to make a milkshake, and though admittedly some of the ingredients made Sally-Anne's stomach turn, she wanted to make milkshakes with Luna Lovegood.
Perhaps it was reading that Luna's snail had died, or that she just needed a change of scene, but she somehow felt she needed to make the milkshakes with Luna and so, she'd sent the other girl an owl asking her to meet her at the kitchens in twenty minutes. There was a chance that Luna either wouldn't get the owl, or that she'd be busy, but Sally-Anne had decided that if she didn't show she'd just walk around outside in the dark. She could study the stars. They always had a way of making her feel insignificant in a way that she desperately wanted at the moment. But for the time being, she was intent on milkshake making.
Leaving her dormitory with nothing but her wand, Sally-Anne made her way to the kitchens. It didn't take long and Luna wasn't there, but Sally-Anne had left earlier than she'd planned. She let herself into the kitchens, found herself a chair and sat near a small fireplace that she assumed was meant for the Elves to rest in front of when they weren't working. There were several stools nearby, and for a moment Sally-Anne felt sorry for them that they were all the creatures had to rest on, but she pushed the thought from her mind. Instead she set about studying the various Elves as they moved past her, eyeing her curiously, but strangely, none of them said a word to her.
