Maybe you are required to give me a hard time, but then I'm required to spoil you silly. I think it's in the boyfriend handbook. I'll look it up so I can cite page numbers and rot like that. So quit worrying about expenses and let me spend. Trust me when I say money isn't an issue and it never will be. I know that probably sounds pretentious and I don't mean it to be. It's simply the truth.

So let me spoil you. I enjoy doing it. It's me making up for not speaking up years ago.
