After responding to Scott, informing him she'll be down to meet him in the common room, Braelyn closed her journal and got up from her bed in search of the present that she was going to give him. It wasn't much, she had just ordered him another X-Men comic book, one that she was sure that he didn't have. Once she grabbed it, she made her way down to the common room, skipping down the stairs. When she saw Scott sitting, waiting for her, Braelyn moved to sit on the couch, the small wrapped comic book in her lap.

"So!" She announced as a smile grew across her face. "I have something for you!"

Scott was going to keep his word and stay in the common room. He was curious as to what Braelyn had gotten him. Christmas was still a month away and his birthday even further, but he wasn't going to complain. Besides, it was Braelyn, the one he had a crush on for quite some time. Seeing Braelyn, Scott smiled and saw that she was holding something when she sat down.

"So I've heard," he grinned. "What did you get me?"

	"Well, I'm not just going to tell you." Braelyn said happily as she handed the package to him. "Here open it yourself." Since Scott's sister liked to steal his comics a lot, she hoped that this would help him out a little. Maybe he could keep it hidden well enough so his sister wouldn't steal it before he had a chance to read it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

He was relieved that she was handing it to him because how fair would it be that she had it and wouldn't tell him. As soon as it was in his hands, he ripped off the paper covering the comic book. It was an X-Men comic that he didn't have and of course hadn't read before. Scott felt his jaw drop. One thing was for certain, he was not about to tell his sister about it until after he read it. "Thanks, Brae!" He gave her a quick kiss on her cheek. It was really great of her to give it to him. "This is a brilliant present."

"I'm really glad you like it." Braelyn replied with a smile. Okay, so Braelyn knew that he would like it. Honestly, it's pretty easily to make someone happy when you know what they're really into, so she found it hard to believe that there was a chance that he wouldn't like her gift.

"I figured you could use something to read since your sister keeps stealing your other ones."

"I do. I really appreciate it." There was no chance he'd ever forget this, especially since it was Braelyn who had given it to him. "Don't know how my sister manages to knick them from me. Which reminds me, I need to ask Colin if he's gotten them back yet. No doubt my sister has finished reading them already." Scott was really excited and wanted to start reading it now. However, he put it down and focused his attention on Braelyn. It wasn't fair to her to read it now and it could wait. Of course, he'd rather spend his time with Braelyn rather than read the comic book. "So.... What do you want to do?"

"It's no problem at all. You're my friend." Braelyn said happily. Obviously thrilled that he liked his present. She nodded when he mentioned his sister. Honestly, she was a little surprised when he asked her what they should do. She half way expected him to start reading his comic but it was still nice that he'd rather hang out with her for a while before reading.

"Not sure, want to go outside for a while? It's a little chilly but nothing too terrible just yet. Figured we could get some sun while it's still a little warm."

	"I'm glad to have you for a friend, Brae." Scott nodded his head. "Yeah, let's go outside. We could always run around in circles or something to keep warm if we need to.
