WHAT: Someone catches Kayla crying!
WHEN: Saturday
WHERE: By the Shrieking Shack
RATING: PG-13
STATUS: Incomplete

So far it had been a decent enough afternoon. Kayla spent most of her time window shopping, there wasn't a whole lot that she needed/wanted to buy but spending a nice afternoon in the Castle didn't sound like fun to her. Besides, it was good to get fresh air every now and then. Throwing away her 2nd Butterbeer, she walked inside to Gladrags Wizardwear to take a look around. There she found a couple of nice every day robes but she had just ordered some not so long ago, it'd be pointless to waste more money. Though one of them happened to be her favourite color, Green. Maybe she could talk herself into buying it. Taking a look around, her head moved slightly to the right as she heard whispered voices on the other side of the clothing rack.

"I'm surprised she's even here."

"I know, Bundy is such a kill joy, you'd think she'd start a petition to ban Hogsmeade trips."

"I can't believe she's HeadGirl, who in their right mind would want her? You know she's just going to favor the Slytherins anyway, none of them are decent."

Kayla paused for a moment, to make sure she heard correctly. Were these two girls talking about her? Her eyes narrowed, she didn't even recognize the students, their robes said Hufflepuff, which didn't surprise her much since about all they can manage to do with their lives is talk about people. Still, she couldn't help but listen to them. They continued talking, though they had nothing decent to say about Kayla. Honestly it was the first time she had heard anyone talk about her behind her back and she wasn't sure how to handle it. The name calling just got worse, saying how she probably doesn't have any friends because she's too boring, bossy and no fun to be around.

Kayla closed her eyes, putting the robe back on the rack, she left the store quietly. Alone, she followed the path to the Shrieking Shack, hoping that no one was there. When she was sure she was a lone, she found a log to sit on and she covered her face. Kayla didn't make any noise, there were a few sniffles but she was a pretty silent when it came to crying.
