Lisa wasn't going to fully believe that Michael would show up, even though he had said that he wasn't going to let her go alone, until she actually saw him. She knew she would be just fine. It was a party and not anything else. There was absolutely no need to worry. However, this instance did give Lisa something to tease Michael about in the future, even though she wasn't sure when she'd see him again. Or any of friends, other than Mandy, since she was done with school. But now wasn't the time to thing about that and time to enjoy the party.

Michael had no intention on bowing out on his word. Still, he didn't feel comfortable being in Lucius Malfoy's home. Honestly, who in his right mind would? Nonetheless, Michael had promised Lisa he'd go and he wasn't going to back out. Besides, he wasn't going to slap Nott in the face in not attending. Hell, Michael could even relate to Malfoy sometimes.

So he dressed up and stepped inside that house behind his father and step-mother. He let them vanish into the crowd as he scanned the large room for a familiar face. Finally he spotted one. "Lisa! Lisa!" He called as he waded through the masses. "Oh, hey, sorry!" He grinned sheepishly at the annoyed waiter.

Lisa took a sip of the drink she had in hand. She wasn't quite sure what it was, but it tasted good enough for her to keep drinking it. That was when she heard someone calling her name. It was a familiar voice, one she had heard over and over for seven years. Lisa turned to the direction the voice was calling from and spotted Michael.

"Hey there stranger. Causing trouble already?" Lisa asked.

	Michael patted his suit jacket. He didn't bother telling Lisa that his step-mum had picked it out. "I have good taste, yeah?" He looked Lisa up and down then. "And you look lovely too." 	"Very good taste. I am pleasantly surprised, Michael." Lisa wasn't sure whether to believe if he had good taste or not, yet this was the one time she had actually seen him dressed up for something. 	"You should take it as a compliment," Lisa told him as she took some goodies off his plate. "I think I'm going to work at Flourish & Blotts for a little bit. I don't know what I want to do yet and I'll probably decide when I get my NEWTs back." She took a couple of bites. "Oh, and I'm get a flat with Mandy. You'll have to come visit." 	Michael rolled his eyes at Lisa's sarcasm though, like many Ravenclaws, appreciated her quickness. "Her father won't flip?" He stuffed his mouth with some flaky meat thing then. When it was gone, he tossed the plate into the nearest waste basket. "I'd like to. It feels odd not having them 'round already." Odd and lonely. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Lisa shrugged her shoulders. "No idea. However, I think he is less likely to flip if I were her roommate than if it was Padma." Though she had applauded Padma for her article and having the courage to write it, but Lisa had not said or did anything contrary to the Ministry. At least, not yet. She wasn't certain, but she hoped Mr. Brocklehurst would be accepting. "If he does, I think I'll have a chat with him." Lisa finished what she had in her hand as Michael spoke. "It feels very odd. We've roomed with them for seven full years. You'd better talk to them because we'll have to have parties at your place to."
