Angelique had always liked reading the funnies in the Daily Prophet, (she was slowly turning to the Quibbler) but it wasn't the comics that was making her laugh, it was the muggle articles. The one that made her laugh out loud was the one concerning electricity. She didn't know how electricity worked exactly but she knew it wasn't because of spells. Her primary school had taught her about how Benjamin Franklin discovered electricity and that Thomas Edison was able to use the same technique on a light bulb.

Raising her hand, she waited five minutes before Alecto finally recognized her. "Ms Carrow, the Daily Prophet released an article about Thomas Edison providing 'spells' for the light bulb. I was wondering, couid you expand on that for us?" She blinked prettily and turned on her french charm.

Jude sat in the library, staring at his textbook with his chin on his hand and sighed. He was supposed to be reading and taking notes, but for the life of him he couldn't be bothered to concentrate on the words written on the pages in front of him. It was kind of stuffy and Jude felt uncomfortable, but he knew if he went back to the common room right now, he would get even less done, so he just tried to focus his mind on translating the runes in the book onto his notes for class tomorrow. There weren't many people around, which Jude supposed was part of the problem. He wasn't really someone who could concentrate in complete silence.

That didn't mean he enjoyed sharing a table with anyone though, so when someone just appeared and sat down at his table, Jude was less than impressed. He slouched down a bit in his chair and stared at them over the top of his book. Why did they need to sit there? Couldn't they sit somewhere else? Jude quietly pondered the idea of threatening to take points, because he was annoyed.
