When he was finished with the wine, Severus set down the bottle and watched carefully as Hermione placed their bowls on the table. As soon as she was done with that, and he was certain he wouldn't inadvertently make her spill any, he caught her about the waist and pulled her down into his lap once more.
"We could," he whispered, before kissing her again. Though now he started to worry that she might have been terribly hungry, and his fickle appetite was keeping her from her supper. If that were the case, however, he could always let her eat -- or perhaps even feed her -- until his stomach made up its bloody mind.
