"I've not a clue since your intelligence is one of the things I love about you," Hermione replied with mock flippancy. She gave him a wide grin right after, watching as he took the glasses from the cabinet. "Yes, I went and purchased new glasses. I assumed they'd come in handy with the frequency with which we have dinner," she added, catching the way his eyebrows rose. For such a private man, his face was quite expressive. Perhaps it was just because he trusted her, but Hermione was glad for it all the same.
She accepted the glass he offered her with a smile. "That's alright," Hermione responded warmly. "We'll simply have to get you to forget about all of that." She took a healthy sip from her glass before getting up from the table and walking around to where he sat. She slid onto his lap, sitting sideways, and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Think you can manage that?" she asked teasingly as she leaned in for a kiss/
