Hermione waited for him to reply before doing anything, but she could tell he'd lost a bit of his appetite. It seemed that whenever he got upset about something, he lost his appetite. That led her to think that maybe he did care about the Headmaster more than he let on. She wouldn't push or prod him for information he wasn't comfortable giving her. Instead, she'd simply ensure that he ate appropriately.
"You're welcome," she replied, leaning into his embrace. Hermione hugged him tightly before kissing his cheek. "Come on, I think there's a bottle that needs opening and I recall you being rather handy with it the last time." Hermione slid off the couch and tugged him up along with her.
