Meaghan didn't like the label "date" for their evening. She refused to protest it or make a big deal about it, though. In her mind, however, this was not a "date". This was a dinner with Octavius - and they have had many dinners before - and it may or may not end with sex. Did that have to mean it was a "date"?
Always one to pay attention, she dressed appropriately in a tight red dress, her hair in lose waves down her shoulders, just a few accents in jewelry, and make up for a night out. Examining herself in the mirror before she left with Octavius, she decided she looked good. She was showing off just the right amount of skin without being overly slutty. There might be a hint of a promise of sex in how she looked and presented herself, but with Meaghan, there was almost always a hint of sex.
Walking into the restaurant with Octavius, she was careful not to take his arm. In fact, most of her mannerism would tell someone this could easily be some business dinner and not a "date". Once seated, she toyed with a bread stick from the offering in the middle of the table, more playing with it than eating it.
