RP: It's just a little crush Date: October 22nd, Year One Characters: James Sirius & Meaghan McCormack Location: Putus Lake Warnings: Tame Public/Private: Private Summary: A flying date rendezvous. Status: Incomplete
It wasn't a date. James knew that, but she was a pretty girl and he was the sort of boy that liked to chase pretty girls, even if he knew it was only for the thrill of the chase. She wasn't Viv and no one but her would do for him. That didn't mean that he wasn't going to make a move if she gave him the opening for it. To that end, he took care when he was getting dressed, making sure he looked as good as he could. If she didn't want to go there, he could cope. It would just be nice to be in the air again, with someone that knew what they were doing, of course.
At 9.30, he left the house and walked briskly down to the lake. He wanted to be early, having picked out the tree he'd met Teddy under as a pretty awesome place for her to find him when she came down. He propped his broom up against it and leaned there, with his hands in his pockets. He wished he'd had a packet of cigarettes when he'd been taken. Now would be a perfect time for one, if they wouldn't make his breath stink and possibly ruin a good kissing moment. Well, he hadn't, so he would have to settle for oh-so-coolly leaning against the tree, pretending he wasn't watching for her.
