Malachi nodded. She always felt that way after the full moon. He just bit his tongue in saying so. She wasn't used to him knowing things like that, for anyone to really know things like that. Living together didn't change where they actually stood.
"We're fine. Evie kept trying to come into your room, looking for you, but I always distracted her somehow," he said, unsure if he should tell her that. He wanted her to know that she'd been missed, that they noticed her presence was gone. It was a little over a month since she first moved in and Evie had gotten used to her being around. So had he, but he'd keep that to himself for now.
