It was all very dizzying, though in this case it had nothing to do with the travel. The rush of getting to see her friend, the new location and the sight and smells as it rushed her, the prospect of a brand new adventure...it was all flooding her system right now in all the best ways possible. After a year of getting back into the groove of things, finding a place in Belfast for her, Holly and whoever was passing through at the time, things started to even out. And even with evening out, there still were a long list of challenges, but that was life. And a majority of those challenges were ones that she had set up for herself, new ways to make a new life, and start again in a way. It wasn't easy, but the things that were worth it rarely were. It helped to see someone now and then and eventually she came to the conclusion that she should start a group for those who were also struggling with addiction. It wasn't always perfect, but it was something and somehow their small little group of rotating people seemed to hang on. Something Kit was extremely grateful for. It helped her hang on, so she could get to moments like this. It was one of the threads of stability that held her life together at times.
Kit couldn't help but laugh a little bit the joy bubbling out of her. "Sounds like you've got it figured out. And right now I am more than okay with taking advantage of that. First real trip outside of the Isles so, I think I'm all right with taking advantage." she winked a little, even if they both knew that she'd find some way to pay back the generosity, even subtly over her visit. Other than that Kit didn't say much as they travel, her head all but on a swivel as she tried to take in as much as he could at once, even though knowing that she'd have plenty of time while here to really take it all in. In that brief moment she couldn't help but be grateful that she was able to upgrade her camera before she left.
"Mil this is...blimey." she paused a little on the sidewalk the awe written all over her face. "I've never seen anything like it." Anyone who caught a glimpse of this could practically see the gears turning in her head at all of the options presented. After a moment she shook her head feeling like she was getting back in line. "How about a snack and cappuccino, we head to the art museum and then we find ourselves the best food in the area before crashing?" she proposed wondering if it would be too much to link arms at the moment. As Kit followed she tried to study her friend a bit. "You been doing okay?" she asked flat out, though not unkindly, far from it. She'd been a mom too long not to actually ask that question, and hell, she would have even if she didn't have Holly. "It's got to be exciting to work here every day."
