Kit's gaze was redirected from something she was looking at across the street when Millicent pointed out her hotel. Kit liked to think that she was not the person to just outright laugh at something, but once she got a look at the grand hotel in front of her she couldn't help the snort laugh that came right out of her. She knew that Millicent was not the type to joke about something like this, and yet it still seemed unbelievable. It was the most lavish and beautiful thing that she'd seen in her life. It beat out the Britannia and Kit had barely had a lunch meeting there, never even dreamed of staying there. "It's...wow." she said her breath being taken a little away at the huge building.
"This this real right?" she asked shaking her head, a look of awe on her face. Kit muttered a bit of a surprised thank you to the bellhop who took Kit's luggage even though she somewhat struggled with the language. She had tried to learn a little Arabic, at least a few key phrases, even though she knew that Millicent would be doing the heavy lifting here. Afraid that even with all of her talents, languages, were not among them. "You must be living like a queen." she shook her head as Kit's wits returned to her. Which would be fair enough, because in her eyes, Millicent was nothing short of a queen herself. Brave, strong willed, more intelligent than almost everyone she knew, the woman knew what she wanted and went for it with gusto expecting nothing short of respect and cooperation. There were days where it was down right inspiring.
"If we got up now, we might not actually leave until tomorrow and I'm anxious to start." she admitted. "Besides, a little espresso and I'll be right as rain." Kit encouraged. "How long do they have you stationed here?" she wondered.
