"I do my best." Emmeline's eyes glittered as she listened to Kingsley's laugh. It was off-putting to think that laughter seemed to be a hot commodity these days.
"St. Mungo's accepts only a few applicants every year," she began to explain. "We sort of become a class, in a way. Each of us goes off with a Healer for the duration of our training, but every so often we're shuffled off with someone else. It's to help with getting us used to all of the different departments. I see Mary every so often, when our cases overlap, but mostly it's a singular thing. We study when we can, though, which is really helpful."
