Kingsley frowned slightly, wondering if Emmeline might be right. Would they keep somebody as good as Moody out of the loop? That made no sense.
The other option was, Moody simply wasn't allowed to share any information at all, given the nature of the crimes and the general uncertainty... who could be trusted, and who couldn't. He could fully understand it then, and agree to that policy. But it was still madly frustrating!
"Hm... perhaps you're right." Kingsley replied, keeping his tone low as he lifted his cup and took a careful sip of the hot tea. It was strong, but certainly not the best he'd ever had.
"Waiting can be hard on some of us..." He wouldn't put it past some of the more emotionally driven members of the Order to take action too soon.
"Which is why I think a meeting should be held soon. The sooner the better. It's difficult to assess where we all stand right now and make any kind of plans." Anything would be better than this waiting game. Kingsley was not emotionally driven in any way, even if he was deeply appalled by the latest crimes and afraid it might eventually involve his own family as well. He just needed to do something. Why else had he worked so hard so many years to become one of the best, if he couldn't make a difference?
