The wind kicked up and Emmeline brushed her fringe out of her eyes as she listened. She held back a snort of laughter at Kingsley's comment. If there was anything she was more inclined to agree with, it would be that the Ministry could be a bit difficult at times. Her mother raved and ranted enough during family dinners for Emmeline to know. She nodded her head in understanding.
"I'm alright," she told him, a shrug of her shoulders following. "Been a long week, you know?" She figured he would understand more than anything. "I want to thank you, again, for helping yesterday. My parents really appreciated it. And I did, too, of course."
She slept much easier the night before knowing her parents were secure.
