Re: Axel: Damian, Leena, Misha, Sadie
There was another bubble of a laugh, a chain of small but firm nods, and a playfully exaggerated look of seriousness that followed those words. "Aye." Little bits of pink that faded quickly into the buzz of enjoyment. "No arguin' from me on account of which tastes better."
The faint touch of palms wrapped up the nice moment and Sadie gave a discreet squeeze and it was soon time to listen to siblings talk on about life. It was good to be standing in such company too. The thoughts might have been double edged if not but, as it was now, Sadie simply hovered. She listened. She kept her weight center, her pinky oh-so-carefully hooked to Leena's, and just smiled politely while brother and sister caught up on current events.
There wasn't a cloud in her head or in those sky blue skies for eyes. Today was all about the bright and the good and she pulled in a breath to hang onto just that. With the color and the sound, the way everyone, even Damian (or so she thought), looked to see each other, it felt easy too. By the time skates began to move and the group took the rink in a collective, hanging onto the goal felt entirely effortless.
It was not unlike the way her hand slid from just pinky-to-pinky to palm-to-palm and threaded fingers as the lights went a little lower. The room felt easy to move through and she turned a laughing smile over to the woman on her flank with whom she was trying to keep an easy and comfortable pace regardless of how things moved around them. She just hung onto the conversation, in watching the two boys practically spoon on their skates and that sure did make her smile.
"Right full of good ideas you are..." She smiled softly and offered a squeeze and attempted thread of fingers.
