Re: Axel: Eli & Mao
"Easy for you to say," He said through gritted teeth as he came close to falling flat on his ass, only Mao's grip keeping him upright. It had been a long time since Eli had done anything he wasn't good at. His predatory nature made him swift and agile and alluring, but none of those things appeared to help him when it came to finding balance on a set of wheels that seemed determined to keep moving no matter how much he shifted his feet back and forth.
He let out a small yelp of joy as he managed to finally find his footing. He gave Mao a pleased grin, inadvertently flashing his rather sharp canines, and tentatively let go of the other's hands. "Ok.. Ok.. not as hard as I thought," He said, looking down at his feet. He still wasn't sure he'd be pirouetting across the floor any time soon, but it was a start.
"When did you learn how to do this?" He asked, trying to hide his envy at Mao's apparent natural talent for skating. It didn't occur to Eli that it might just have been something Mao learned in his youth. When Eli had been young this sort of thing hadn't really, well, existed at all.
