Re: Axel: Damian, Leena, Misha, Sadie
Damian knew Misha's own experience with affection had been confusing as a child, and for obvious reasons. But, Damian had not received any affection. While this made it less confusing for him, for obvious reasons, it meant he did not know what to do with it now. He had made strides, yes. He hugged Misha now. He touched him and it was beginning to be thoughtless and unintentional—both large strides for an al Gol, whose every move was meant to be calculated. But, even more than all of this, there was not a simple lack of affection in Damian's upbringing. In its place, physicality had been about dealing damage, about dominating and death. One did not do something so trivial as embrace. So, yes, he was stiff, but he was pleased all the same to see Sadie, and this was evident to any who could read him. He smiled at her and at her compliment, then turned his attention to Leena. He asked about her choice of employment, just as the women twined pinkies.
"So, you are finished at the bed and breakfast?" He asked this as he heard Misha approaching him from behind, and he allowed the embrace and the tug without any thought given to how others might view it. Damian allowed himself to be propelled by Misha, inasmuch as the boy desired, and he leaned against Misha, his balance still impeccable. "Did you begin your employment there following what we did to the place?" It was what he recalled.
Misha spoke from behind him, and Damian turned his head to glance at the angel. He then followed pale blue to the women and their (small) grip on one another. "This is obvious." He tutted, but this was at the dig of dimple into Misha's cheek, which was cute, and Damian stopped leaning. He removed Misha's arms from him and he turned toward the boy. He began then to skate backwards as if it was nothing, smiling at Misha, and toward the flow of people as they circled the rink. "Come, you fool." He beckoned Misha with a curl of fingers.
