Re: Axel: Damian, Leena, Misha, Sadie
Misha, he knew it was a real whole lot of progress for Damian to let Sadie hug him any at all. Damian, he wasn't real big on being touched, and Misha reckoned Leena was a whole lot the same, which was why Misha knew better than to try and hug Damian's sister any. He was thinking on that some as he went and got his skates, and he came on back to Damian and Leena talking. Sadie was smiling, and her and Leena had their pinkies entwined, and it made Misha think of young and sweet feelings. Sadie, she never did glow for Misha, but Leena did, and it was a nice change.
Leena, she was talking 'bout why she'd decided to come work here, and Misha reckoned it was a good change, too. It was loud and bright and real happy, and he reckoned it could be impossible to be miserable here always. It was also real normal, just like Damian working at the antique store, and Misha was reckoning there was a lot to be said for normal recent.
He skated up behind Damian, and he wasn't real good at it. He didn't fall on his bottom any, though, and he slid his arms 'round Damian's waist and tugged the boy back 'gainst his chest unthinking. Could be it was the strobing lights and dark, but it felt safe some, and his worrying from earlier was quieted just now. Fingers twined in Damian's belt loops, he smiled over the smaller boy's shoulder at the girls and their joined pinkies. "I see things are going real well," he said, his grin digging a dimple into his cheek.
