Re: [Fuzzy] Forest: Julia L/Leena B
Julia didn't think it mattered if it ran in your blood. If she learned anything from most of a decade with Nick, it was that blood didn't matter. It was how you grew, how you twisted until everyone could tell. The markers that made you who you were, they didn't run in your veins. They sat on your tongue, twined around your back-teeth. It wasn't a fairy-tale, princesses who grew up poor and discovered they were something more. If you were a princess growing up like a pauper, you were going to look and sound like one.
But whatever, Julia got safety first and safety always. There was a certain amount of safe she didn't have but if she had - she wouldn't let go either.
"You can't? Like it hurts so you have to or you just don't know what you're gonna be or when you're gonna be?" Julia sounded matter-of-fact. She wasn't, but it made sense that people had crazy shit going on when there was a jail set up and ready for people who did crazy shit. She pushed hair out of her eyes and she shook her head, impatient.
"Nah. I have to reach out, I can feel it. I can feel where it goes and why it goes, it's like speaking another language I never learned."
