Re: [Fuzzy] Forest: Julia L/Leena B
Statistically. Statistically put Leena at home, with a guy who had a hold over her. Statistically put it after something lower-key, something that hadn't hurt as much as surprised her, the kind of blow-up that came out of the blue. Statistically had a lot to say for itself and the fact it didn't match Leena's truth made her anomaly. Julia knew she was a statistic and she looked for them in other people.
Leena went tense and that flat comment said maybe whoever it was on the other end had gotten more than they had asked for. Good and Julia had shaken off youth and the instinct she'd carried around as a little girl, to wanting violence to say locked up in a box beneath the bed or outside the walls of the little community they'd lived in. Good. Whoever it was had gotten their due, and she didn't say anything about it, but her eyes warmed.
A truth for a truth. She shrugged her shoulders. "Little bit of this, little bit of that."
