Re: [Fuzzy] Forest: Julia L/Leena B
There was a world between 'letting' and 'not' and if asked, Leena couldn't say she let him so much as she let herself be surprised. There was a lull in paranoia, a system too run down by being constantly at high alert, and then he'd been there.
Slate green eyes went blank then, a little draw up of her spine, a rigidity that said the question wasn't welcome. "Someone who won't again." No explanation as to how he wasn't, or why he wasn't, and she didn't feel like remembering him charred on the floor of that alley, innards everywhere. She sighed to cover up her urge to gag on the memory, and watched and nothing really happened, except that one moment her generator was at the pearly gates and the next it was choking to life.
Then humming, practically growling, like it was angry at being forced back to life and she looked down at the think with a flick of her eyebrow. "Does it hurt when you do the thing you don't do, or does it feel like coming home?" She wondered, but it wasn't said with the inflection of sending the question burrowing deep. It was curiosity, and half a mirror turned inward.
