Re: [Study: Atticus/Aiden]
Think people will run the other direction if you wave a pitchfork. [Said it with a lazy grin. Couldn't actually imagine Aiden waving a pitchfork, if he was going to be completely honest.] Might want to try some wings. Think people are generally soothed by wings. [Wasn't even untruth. Atticus wasn't a believer, but an astonishing number of intelligent men believed in things like angels. Grinned a moment later.] Think you count as hipster. Sorry to be the one to inform you. [But Atticus' old and tired expression went back to showing shades of curiosity a moment later.] Don't understand how you can die repeatedly. Already dead, aren't you? [A moment later, Atticus hummed attentively.] Almost dead. So not dead at all? [He glanced down when the number was slipped across the table on a piece of paper.] This mean I'm allowed to call about business? [Smiled cheekily, sitting back with the paper and tucking it into his pocket. Folded his hands over his belly again.] Can get you the Kindle app so you can use my account. Can read anything you want, whenever you want to. Not as good as an actual book in my opinion, but better than the alternative, if the alternative is nothing.
