Re: Mulder/Scully
Given the subject matter covered in our postcards, I'd like to think that if you'd been abducted by aliens, the first note you were able to slip to me on these forums would have said as much. Also, if you not only got confirmation that there is intelligent beings in the Universe but were also getting seriously probed by them, I'd be a little hurt if I wasn't the first person you told. Which is to say that, yeah, I mostly figured it was the post office keeping us apart. If the government is stepping in to quiet us, we must be getting too close to the truth. Or they read that one part where we mentioned having killed.
Is 'Fine' really how you are expected to feel? Or how you expect you are expected to feel? Would the people closest to you in your life not be good listeners if you were to divulge any of the reasons that you were not feeling fine? Is it something that you don't want to talk about with them, or do you imagine it to be a burden?
I am fine. Damn, I can't really use that one anymore can I?
I am better than I was yesterday. I was living a lie for awhile and surprise surprise, that does a real number on ones mental faculties. I have a theory now, that if I'm honest with myself and true to myself, I'll be the happiest I can be. If you see flaws in this experiment, please don't tell them to me, Scully.
If there is a proper balance, I've no idea of the schematics. 50/50 doesn't seem right. Should true love account for a higher percentage in ones life? Is it meant to burn up everything else so there is no competition for ones focus? I can theorize, but I don't know. My passion is also directed elsewhere.
I believe that intent should be a factor, yes. For both our sake. I do not know the intent in your own situation, Scully, but am giving you the benefit of the doubt. Some killers kill because they believe it is the right thing. Some killers kill by accident or with negligence. In any case, I'm not sure that any killer with a good heart is ever pardoned completely.

P.S. There are no shortage of bad snowflakes in this world.
