Re: [Hookerville: Hannah & Reece]
The personal space thing was something Reece would like, ease into. He'd still be awkward, but no doubt, by the end of this visit, he wouldn't really notice... as much. Reece smiled as Hannah popped to her feet and fluttered away. He watched the beads as they blew around, clacking, once the fans were placed, and when he looked back up at the approaching girl, he smiled a smile that managed charming-adjacent. "Thanks," he said, his tone smug, thinking he totally did look shady and that he'd nailed the style, even if, no, he wouldn't have wanted to walk on a dirty floor.
Hannah's fingers resumed tracing skin and metal, and Reece lifted his (real) elbow to the back of the sofa and leaned his temple into his knuckles. She encouraged him to 'just say the words.' "Yeah, man, that's kind of the point though. Maybe it shouldn't real and maybe if I don't say it, it won't be, and all I did was have some weird hallucination fever dream." He looked up from her fingers. "You know?"
