[Hookerville: Hannah & Reece]
Hannah wasn't sure what Reece's secret was, but she was glad he was coming to visit. It was a quiet day, and it was too hot for truckers to pull off the highway to come sweat in the heat of a warm airstream. The sun was starting to drop in the sky, but Hannah wasn't expecting any customers. Even the local customers were more absent in summer. Kids were home from school and it was easier to get caught, and that meant fathers didn't venture out as easily. Young people really didn't come to Hookerville, not really, not unless it was their first time and that was a different thing altogether. And the truckers drove during the long and hot daylight hours.
In short, it was warm and quiet, and the first trailer to the right had an open door and two fans blowing right inside the door to the color display that screamed loudly when someone arrived. Hannah was alone, Spot having been spending her days in the air conditioning of her room at the facility, and she was wearing a flimsy sundress.
Normally, she had music playing, but today she was just sitting on the long couch near the door and letting the fan blow on her face. She was lost in thought, expression dreamy and eyes closed as her head was tipped back to the wall.
