Re: postcard: castor & pollux.

Pollux,
I don't know Salome really, or it's not ringing a bell. What's her story? It's nice choice either way, but I'm not surprised at this point. You seem to have good taste.
I can't think of a single person I've met who's never had a problem. Can you? If you can, I'd love to shake the hand of the luckiest person on the planet. Life's not all good things, but if it was, would we even appreciate them? You can't know dark without light, quiet without sound, and all other 10,001 expressions. But it could be any combination of wrong key/lock/door. The only one way you'll ever find one that *does* work is if you keep trying keys, locks, and doors though.
Listen. I'm not the type who judges anyone okay? I've seen all kinds of people from every walk of life you can think of. Stupid thrill seekers and destitute grandparents. You name it. It takes all kinds to make the world go round and, even if I worry about it, I'm not going to look down my nose at someone just because they liked things crazy. Everyone's got their comforts Pollux. And I'll even agree that peace can feel stale, but as someone who's had it and lost it?
You miss it when it's gone.
Zeus was king of the mountain as far as Gods go, but you're not wrong about power. I've never seen that kind of thing do anyone all that much good in the long run. Better if everyone just has a little bit of it, I think, and then spreads it around.
