Re: postcard: castor & pollux.
[The card comes back with something simple, but fits the tone of correspondence]
Pollux,
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I don't see anything unsafe about a scantily clad woman with a book. Looks like a pretty great way to end a day to me. Used to be one of my favorite things to see. As for dream careers? Totally are. The trick I've figured out is to find one that doesn't kill your dreams at the same time and that's no easy thing to find. Perseverance is your friend.
I never was much of a runner, but I've had my moments. I tend to run toward trouble more often not though. I can't deny what you're saying. This place doesn't seem like it's real, but considering what the real world is, maybe that's a good thing? Considering what the real world throws around, I'd take the rest this place might provide. Think that's where it got its name?
So. The story goes, your Dad duped your Mom while in the shape of a swan. At least I think that's the story. It's been awhile since I've read it. Maybe I should revisit it.
