Why is that do you think? Why should it be so much easier to be honest with the people that we don't know? Why do we give our confessions from behind veiled panels? It is so backward, because surely we get the harshest judgement from the people that don't know us. The people closest to us should be more understanding or more forgiving, but we don't often give them the option.
Intergalactic mysteries and government conspiracies are very compelling, but at the end of the day there should be room for love in the mix as well. I like the idea of ideal balance, but don't really believe that everyone is made for it. I don't believe that anyone is meant to be alone in this great big world, or in the great big worlds that lay beyond. At the same time, I believe that it is smart not to hold out for something. Is that like not getting your hopes up? If we were meant to discover that all-consuming burn of true love, surely special agents like us would have found it more easily. Maybe your passion is just directed and concentrated elsewhere for now.
I believe that depends on the killer, Scully.
I actually tend to sleep very well. Even John Wayne Gacy's clown in the wilderness self-portraits aren't going to change that.
Hoping to hear from you again, M
P.S. Or credit to the one bad snowflake that shoved all of the others into action.
