Re: [postcard: scully & mulder]
[The postcard is included with the same style stationary as before.]
You don't come across as the sort that would harm another, but the jury is still out on your colossal plastered intergalactic cephalopod status. I do not drink enough to have a type of drunk I am, or I would gladly confide. My guess would be amorous. Does it take lowered inhibitions for you to be emotional? Sometimes it does for me.
Now that you point it out, I can see it. Do you empathize with the tortoise, Mulder? I do. No one wants to be alone, and it is tragic to be lost for a lifetime looking for another. Do you think he will ever find the one he was meant for?
Certainly everyone has looked up to the sky and wished for something at one point or another in their life. I am no different, except I do not think a star is going to magically fix anything. Wishes come true if we work for them. Do you think there is nothing beyond the stars? I believe there must be, only that we are not ready for that knowledge yet.
We are all constantly changing. We learn and experience every moment, and the person we were yesterday is not the same person as we are today. You are part of that change for me, through this correspondence, for good or bad. There is no evidence to say it will be bad, but that could all change tomorrow. If you could choose something to change, what would you?
That is a very good way to put it. How long has it been since you last had Chinese food? I can't even remember for me. Maybe we should wish on one of the stars to get delivery out here.
It is our nature to question. So let us ask them. Why? Why do you think we were meant to write to one another?
