Re: steph/tim - lasagna
[Tim was fresh out of good ideas. Whether or not having dinner with Stephanie qualified as a bad one would yet to be seen. It didn't feel likely, and these days Tim was operating wholly off of what felt right. He'd followed all of the rules in the past and it hadn't gotten him very far at all. Thinking with his head had brought on more questions than he'd ever managed to answer. It was time that he went with his gut instead. And tonight, his gut said that he wanted lasagna. A potential love triangle really wasn't on Tim's mind. Stephanie had made her choice in that department. She'd made it more than once.
He answered the door shortly after she knocked, stepping back from the frame in order to allow her in. The motel wasn't on the best side of town, but the room looked more like a studio apartment from the inside. There was a very, very tiny kitchen area and even a modest dining table that was crammed into one corner and currently supporting some of Tim's computer equipment.] Can you not use my full name? Makes me feel like I'm in trouble. [He gave a little shrug of discomfort from under a red cotton tee shirt that advertised the Jersey Devils hockey team.]
