Re: log: welcome home - adrian and dietre
Adrian cracked open the beers and distributed them. "Just let me know." He'd have a new piano, or he wouldn't. It was no skin off his nose either way. He didn't really hang out in the living room, and as long as the guy wasn't blasting Bach at 2 AM, having a little music around the house might not be a bad thing.
"That sounds like something Misha would do," he said, with a smile. "Honestly, we'll see if you can stand me." He passed Dietre a plate, one BLT with the bacon and tomatoes stacked high, plenty of mayo, the toast still warm. It smelled like heaven. He left his own plate on the counter, pushing back and hopping up to sit on it. He began working on half of the sandwich, one hand cupped underneath it to catch the crumbs. Mysteriously, bits of bacon did find their way to the floor where Sieglinde could vacuum them up.
The beer was a sharp and clean, smooth drinking, but perhaps not an entry-level option. Adrian pressed the bottle of beer against the side of his neck. It wasn't even particularly hot inside - it just felt good.
"Not really," he said, after swallowing his first bite. "Well, college. Does college count? I was kind of all over the place, my roommate and I got along okay though." He shrugged a shoulder. "You?"
