Re: log: welcome home - adrian and dietre
Adrian cranked the heat up on the skillet and began laying out cold strips of bacon. He dangled one dangerously close to Sieglinde's face with a grin. She would get some cooked strips - he wasn't a total tease. "Now I really do need to hear it." The bacon began to hiss quietly in the pan.
He looked over his shoulder at Dietre, arching a brow. "Hey, if you know somebody with a real piano and somebody's willing to repair it for you, I'll take it. There's plenty of room in the living room. I'm sure somebody in town would be willing to move it for a couple cases of beer and a decent meal." He waved his metal spatula. "Just ask on the forums."
"Whose piano is it?" The more they talked about it, the more complex the piano chain of custody was becoming. "If they're not playing it or getting it repaired, they probably don't care about it, right?"
"I'll try not to keep you up either," he said, with a half-smile. The bacon was about ready for a flip, so he dug in with the spatula. "And it's cool if you want to have company, if that wasn't obvious. Just let me know if there's gonna be a party or something."
