Re: Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
Aedan laughed at being called a baby. He was young by immortal standards, old by human ones and yet remarkably comfortable with either set when considering his companions. "Neither. It would seem that everyone either falls into one of those two things without ever finding a middle that I'm determined to stay in. Life is worth living, and there are still things out there that are new and worth enjoying.
"The crushing weight of immortality?" He laughed and shook his head. "No, when I get there I suspect I'll dig myself a hole in the ground and sleep until I can no longer wake." It was no way to live, being that morose, and when -- and if-- he ever got there, he was willing to say goodbye to this joyride.
"Good to hear that. I have no desire for the unwilling." And if she had been unwilling but Loki not, he still would have dropped the other man off at their homestead and bid them both a good night. Their correspondence could be kept to simply literary and the friendly meeting between two sharp minds.
In lieu of enjoying anything else, sharp or otherwise. "Only if you wish to be. If not, I'm content to continue our conversation without interruption or indulge in more physical acts if you're both consenting."
